A tooth extraction may be recommended when a tooth cannot be preserved because of damage, decay or gum disease. Dr. Kolchansky evaluates the tooth and explains your treatment options before recommending removal.

Dental pain and urgent evaluations

Call our Simi Valley office if you have dental pain or a damaged tooth. Same-day treatment may be possible when clinically appropriate and appointment availability permits. An evaluation determines whether treatment in our office or a specialist referral is recommended.

Bone grafting after an extraction

When indicated, an allograft bone graft may be recommended to help preserve the ridge after removal. We explain whether grafting is appropriate for your treatment plan, including future tooth replacement.

Wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth are one type of tooth that may need removal. We assess your situation and discuss whether a specialist referral is appropriate.
